not liking any company's helmet patterns?

A couple years ago when I wanted a bike Shoei had some AMAZING looking helmets that I really wanted, however my girlfriend at the time wouldn't let me get the bike... so i didn't get the helmet.

Now she is long gone, and I've bought a bike but can't decide on a helmet. Arai's RX7 corsair designs aren't really doing it for me for how much they cost, and I don't like shoei's x11 styles that much either.

Did perhaps the shop I went to sell custom Shoei's? Are there company's that customize the helmets more than the factory, but aren't like an individual air-brusher?

I'm afraid my only choice is going to be having my helmet air-brushed professionally, which wouldn't be bad, just expensive.

hmmm this shoei helmet is pretty damn sweet though.

their medium doesnt fit me as good as Arai's medium and i think small may be, well...too small! perhaps there are thicker pads i could change?

I don't like very many of the paint schemes, either. So, I bought a plain one and put stickers on it.

thats a cool idea, just get a plain one and put stickers on it! i like that! just a big arai sticker and a honda one on the sides could be cool. then they could be changed based on what i'm riding if say i switch to a different brand .

although the new haga fire/ice and hayden laguna's are BAD ASS. too bad they are $750.

My on what I do with my helmets. Since I design tattoos and such, I design my OWN helmet colouring and patterns, then I send it to the
TC Specialized company and they put it onto my helmet in spray. They do wonderful work! Their work starts around $300 and goes up from there.

There is a place called Iron Horse Helmets also that is pretty good with some pretty good cheaper prices. I've never used them personally, but a friend has and they came up with some great stuff!

I was gonna say Troy Lee is where most of the pros send their helmets to be painted, but they are expensive and not usually very original.
