FedEx man dropped off some new pants today! I bought Teknic Chicane Leather pants...to replace the JR's that were too big. I got a killer deal on them on eBay. $151 ducketts.
They fit great. Good length. And true waist size. The waist is elastic all the way around for a nice snug, but expanding, fit. They stay in place very well.
Leather quality is top notch. Very soft and supple. Lined with mesh, jersey type material. Zippers inside each leg that unzip all the way to the top of the calf. Makes for easy entry. They tuck into my Alpinestar SMX3's very nicely.
There are stretch panels on the back of the knees, and the crotch area. Ther are leather expansion panels on the front top of the knees and in the rear waist area. There is also a padding in the @$$. As well as armor in the knee area.
The knee sliders appear to be of a very hard plastic. Should slide quite well.
On the bike...they feel pretty good. The leather gives you a solid anchor to the gas tank when hanging off. They need a little bit of breaking in, as they are a bit tight in the upper leg area.
The only down side is they are not perforated...so they are pretty damn hot. But as I always say...I'd rather sweat than bleed. To the best of my knowledge Teknic doesn't offer a perf. Chicane pant.
