Power Trip gear...

is it any good? Im looking at their mesh jacket for the summer months just for cruzing.

Im also looking at scorpion helmets. I basically just need cheap gear that will do the job until I can get some leathers...

Power Trip is made by Joe Rocket. It's good stuff, but not the BEST stuff you can buy (however, I think Joe Rocket meshies might arguably be the most popular out there, if only for their mass availability).

Collectively, I think we have 5 Joe Rocket and Power Trip meshies between the two of us, and we've been overall really pleased with them.

I ride in a joe rocket mesh here in phoenix and am very pleased with it. In 110 degree heat it is still hot as all get out, but much much better than my textile shift jacket I have.

i love my power trip meshy, its on its second season and has held up very well...

keep in mind tho, any brand of meshy may not hold up well in the event of an accident...its a chouce we make (to not die of heat stroke!)

Yup, gotta do what you can (otherwise we Floridians wouldn't be able to ride all summer!)

I just bought a pair of Power Trip Grand National gloves. They seem decent, and are mostly leather- aside from part of the cuff being neoprene. Carbon Fiber knuckle guard, double leather palms, and foam/leather padding on the outer knuckles and thumb. They fit my hands far better than any shift gloves, and seem to run true to size. Comfortable as soon as I got on my bike. Little bit cool for the weather this morning when I RODE TO WORK!!!!!
