If I remember correctly someone here said Power trip was made by Joe Rocket. Which I know alot off ppl think JR has gone the way of visual appeal verses function. I own a JR jacket n boots n love both. Both have good protection n function n good looks. I think it should do its job just fine n its not a bad looking jacket either.

I think a lot of people say that about Icon, but I dont know about Joe Rocket. JR makes good quality stuff.

Some people were bitching about JR quality for a little while, but I heard that was because a bunch of cheap asian knockoffs started being sold here for a while, which obviously doesn't say anything about JR.

As long as it's real JR (or one of their subsidiaries in this case) I would say it's gonna be a good quality product. I'm extremely pleased with my textile/meshie convertible JR jacket, especially for the price. Good stuff.

I've been eyeing that jacket myself. I do not like the "Power Trip" lettering on it but for the price, and I am cheap, it really appeals to me.
