joe rocket lucky jacket

Hey everyone does anyone have the lucky jacket that joe rocket put out? I wanted to get one, but I wanted to know if its somethig that I can wear when the weather is cooler. I have a leather one, but I was wanting one with a little more protection. Thanks

JR stuff is cheap mass marketed junk. Buy a real leather suit that will protect your ass if you go down.

Everyone I know that has gone down wearing JR stuff just shreads apart and they still have tons of road rash.

When I went down a few weeks ago I slid 200 feet and didn't get one mark of road rash on me. My leathers are still wearable, I just need to get one seam sewn back up. The helmet is trashed, and my leathers don't look the greatest anymore, but who cares...all that matters is my gear saved my ass.

No prob! I hate seeing people waste their money on something that isn't all that safe.

I have a JR Reactor meshie jacket. Seems good to me
It's a meshie, so it not going to have super crash protection, but it's armored, and better than a t-shirt!

I agree. Comfortable cheap gear > no gear

For my personal protection, I have bought a Teknic chicane jacket and Teknic lightning gloves. Both are made of leather and feel great no matter how hot it is outside. I like the quality and have seen how well the product holds up during low and high speed "incidents". All comes down to how much you care about your skin.
