I've got a bunch of different options. I like the hyosung 250. My friend has an R6 he's wanting to get rid of, which would be a steal considering I could make payments on that, however it's not a good starter bike. There are other options...but it's basically on whatever I can afford which will be the deciding factor.

And the MSF if you haven't taken it.. Looks like you are doing everything else right though man. 250 or 500 is a good choice.

Thanks!

Thanks for the input I do believe it'll most likely be a 250. Maybe not a Hyosung, but a 250!

I am getting closer! I got my jacket in June and last night I got boots and ordered my gloves. I am having a real hard time with the pants though.

Well congrats then I hear ya about the pants...I technically don't have the actual riding pants..but they are better than jeans. I'm short, so it's hard to find pants that aren't draggin on the ground underneath my feet!

I have the opposite problem...I am tall. Alpinestars (my jacket brand) seems to think that women do not get taller than 5'10" and if they are 5"10 then they are a size 13...which I am not. So now I have to try and fine mens pants that fit. And now where in a 100 mile radios seems to carry pants in stock so I cannot try them on!

Anyway sorry for the mini rant!

Sounds Familiar

I still need some pants. And the only ones I've seen anywhere are the JR jeans, and the A* cargoes. And after hearing about Shift? jeans with the poly liner melting into a guys leg, I think I'll avoid that type of liner/pants.
