Mission Impossible: Custom Logo Pucks (sparkys if possible)

Your mission if you choose to accept it is to find a company that does custom logo pucks. Wouldn't it be cool to sport TWF pucks to the track or a knee sliding good time at the gap? Let's see if we could find a company that would give us the pleasure.

(thanks for the idea black mamba)

I haven't seen those, I will have to go look. They don't have nearly the stuff they use to since they remodeled the store. It's bigger but seems to have less stuff.

Maybe he meant to check with them to see where they got theirs done if they got em

Or check with Wiz themselves n see if they do custom orders.

Pucks with a pic of a "unit" would be fun because you could rub one out.

I am dealing with someone right now to get a decent price on any wiz sparkies we want. They will still be about $50 a set though, which is normal for wiz pucks.

You can check out the wiz designs at www.wizracing.co.uk

They cost $60 to buy direct from them. Don't think they will make TWF ones though.

Just out of curiousity, how often do you need to replace pucks? I mean, I certainly understand that 'it depends', but just curious as to your particular life expectancy.

I am just getting to the point where I can expect to have my knee down in most of the corners, my wear is becoming worse and worse. This is a really huge depends thing. How hard you touch, how you touch, how often you touch, and the quality of the puck all has a huge effect. Right now I am just getting to the point on my left knee puck where it is going to be gone soon, my right which I am easier on is still pretty solid. This is my first set and I just started knee draggin in april. Some guys have just bought delrin blocks and cut and bolt new pucks on because they abuse them and go through a set very quickly. I will get a more clear picture of my use after this next set of pucks. Klucky pucks are suppose to be really good for wear if you want ones that will last.

leather suck for street, they are too grippy and grab hard on the rougher street surfaces.

I couldn't tell you either way... (I can't even find leathers in my size) I'm just supplying a custom puck maker...

As a note, to make custom pucks you don't want the logo ON them, but rather IN them... i.e. cut out of the puck or different colored plastic/leather/etc all the way through. Otherwise the logo will be there for about 20 seconds and then it's gone.

It might be more expensive to have made that way, but w/e.

Yeah that's the problem of finding a company to do it, we could just slap stickers on them if we didn't intend to use them.
