i have everything a jacket , helmet , and gloves... and some army boots..but the army boots dont cover your ankle..
i know you need over the ankle boots..just wondering if they were suffiecient enought for riding..since they do support your ankles...
if you've got combat boots, just use them. all leather, and they protect you fairly, though a dedicated riding boot would be better, and more comfortable to shift with. IMO, jump boots unless the toe is stiff leather, tend to become unfomfortable on my toes under the shifter, but you may be different.
Don't skimp on riding boots. Get REAL riding boots. They don't have to be racing type, but something more than just works boots. Check Ebay for sure. Brands like Alpinestars, Dianese, Sidi and Icon. Those companies offer decent riding boots.
I would bet you're going to have to have some custom ones made... maybe call z-custom leathers or a company like that? There are several custom leather makers listed in Lee Parks' Total Control
