If it wasn't a 3/4 I would consider getting one. What do you guys think? Definately different. I bet it would be light...

so it's really bamboo, not just a clever paint scheme? i'm skeptical over the safety aspect. is bamboo really that durable? it is different though, and i am all about being different. i'd rock it...

Apparently it meets ECE R22-05 standards, which is like the equivalence of US DOT standards.

Well, I know bamboo is really strong, like if you want to piss your neighbor off, plan some bamboo as a fenceline and it'll grow, can eventually break through concrete slab and foundation walls.

Though I wouldn't take a helmet for one though, I don't think (didn't read the article) it'll be SNELL and DOT approved.

Consider that it was made for the European market only, I doubt that it's DOT and/or Snell approved

if i read that right, the european standards that it does pass are considered to be alil higher than dot, and alil lower than snell. its a 3/4 tho, and its ugly.

Even if it IS safe, you'd look like a turd wearing it. Don't do it.
