commute, no; twisties, yes

powers will wear quickly for super slab. If you are wanting a more commute friendly tire that will do well in the twisties, the pilot road 2s are now available. They are a dual compound and have a road center and something more like the powers on the edges for twisties.

mileage on them depends on how hard you work em 4k-5k is about average.

although MANY people claim to have put more than 5k on their PP's whom ride mostly super slab.

depends how easy you are on them, a road can get a ton more mileage on it and is built for the superslab. Not everyone needs powers, hell I am not getting powers on my bike next time. Corsa III's are starting to become the "it" tire around these parts. So I am going to give em a shot. Several complete PP fanatics have started calling the PPs crap in comparison.
