Any experience with HS 830

Has anyone ever used one of these or know anyone who has?

You can pick one up for $35 dollars. Seems to me even if they half [email protected]@ worked it would be worth it.

yeah that so wouldn't work well on a sport bike or a loud ass chopper. If you got a moped, you are all set though.

its claims its compatiable with a full face helmet. There is a speaker that mounts inside the helmet by your ear but i cant figure out how you would make the microphone work with a full face?

I have a Cardo ScalaRider that I bought about a year ago. It works great in my full face helmet. They have a newer one that can scan FM stations.

It actually works better with ear plugs in than without.

I had one of their scala-500s that worked very well in a convertible at 70mph.

The boom is long enough that you just fold it under the lip of the helmet. I'd take a pic of mine, but it's nowhere close.

Just look at the scala link for an idea. I'd bet the moto uses similar technology.

$35 is a great price. I bought mine for $80 off ebay, which was a steal at the time.

Folks will call and don't know I'm riding unless the speed is up over 65mph or so (or I get near the rev limiter). Then it becomes both hard to hear and hard for folks to hear.
