The only ones that Ive found for my bike are no cut. Whats the difference in the two other than having to cut the fairings or not?

Difference is how they mount.
No-cuts generally mount to a bracket that mounts to the frame behind the fairing.
Cut sliders require you to cut a hole in the fairing so they can be mounted directly to the frame.

Dissadvantage of no-cuts is that in a wreck, they can bend and actually cause more damage than they prevent.

That's what I've heard... never used no-cuts, but I have no fairings either

That makes sense. I read on the description of one that said it mounts right into the engine mount, any idea if thats a good one or not? Cuz sliders are on my list of winter mods and obviously Id prefer whatever is gonna work best.

mounting to an engine mount is ok... as long as it's not a bracket that is mounting to the engine mount, but the actual slider.

Do the Kat sliders go through the vents in the fairing? Pretty sure the GSXR does- but maybe on one side only. That would explain the direct mount no-cut.

Alright, good deal. The install directions on the site said that the bolt for the slider basically replaces the engine mount bolt I think. I'll have to find which site I found that on, but I think I'll be ordering those real soon, especially since I should be gettin my paint touched up from my drop in the next few weeks. Thanks for the help SV, the sig dont lie.
