i just got the motorhead jacket, very nice and strong. its worth it, i feel much safer wearing it.

the pursuit gloves are my all time favorite. cant do without them. if your looking for something a little more sturdy, the superduty is another good choice.

i get almost everything from icon, but when it comes to helmets, for some reason i'd rather stick to agv, but again thats just my opinion.

i've some Icon gear and very pleased with it so far.
for the street it's fine, for the track i'd recommend one of the other
race oriented brands.

if yur gonna ride in jeans take a look @ a pair of Sliders motorcycle jeans
or Technik brand jeans.
they look and fit like regular jeans and offer a lil more protection that just
jeans.

I have two Icon Jackets and they hold up awesomely.
Several friends love their gloves (that they got online I wont get gloves or helmet online unless I try it on first) and love them. Same goes for the helmets.

There are haters out there that say its all "stunna" gear but sorry to me gear is gear. Only difference is if there is padding and how it fits. And Icon looks good as well as protects

Leather gear is a lot cheaper than skin!
Icon is ok, but I will tell you that any $120.00 jacket is not considered gear in my book.

If all else fails, lean more.....

Icon is not the best made stuff. But it's gotten better over the years and it's better than no gear.

Icon is more about looks that protection. Yes its better than no gear, but I'd buy something of higher quality and forget about the looks.

They've come a long way over the last 2-3 years. Most of their armour in their stuff is CE approved now, and I read a while back they're getting into developing race leathers.

Still, stuff like Alpinestars and Dainese is going to be better quality.

I have an Icon Mainframe Subhuman Helmet.... and I love it... Its comfy vents air nicely for the summer and best of all, which is what drew me to this helmet, the design is just sick.

I have the Icon field armor chucka boots and love them. Very comfortable, very sturdy, good protection. I ride in them every day and walk around campus with them all day long with no problems. With jeans pulled over the top you cant even tell that they are boots. Also have the perforated pursuit gloves. Fit me well and nice and cool for the warm weather.

I've got a teknic Chicane textile jacket and love it. Honestly anything is better than just skin but the more expensive stuff is going to be worth it.

When Icon first came out, they were very reasonably priced. But now I start seeing some jackets going for $600+ MSRP. WTF, over? That much? I might as well cough out another hundred or so and get a custom outfit.

Actually I can't fathom why anybody would shell out 600-700 for an off-the-rack jacket. For that much money, you get a custom shop to cut one to your size.

Check out their riding jeans. I have the Barrier, and love them. They could do with more kevlar, but it's better than nothing, and man are they nice now that it's getting cold! I'm looking into the Anthem too for next season. Better coverage, and same comfort level. Good looking pants, and comfortable enough to wear at work all day without getting weird looks.

Not a fan of their helmets or gloves, but I tried on the Accelerant Jacket, and it is sick! Really comfortable, and good protection.

fit & feel is great.
i own a pair.

comfy, feels like regular jeans.
even the kevlar has a soft to the touch lining.
the denim is a lil heavier weight, as you would expect.
