Alpinestars is top-notch. Seriously great stuff... DO be aware of how Alpinestars fits, however (make sure you've tried on some of their stuff before ordering). The Regular Alpinestars line fits very snug/close to the body (race fit), whereas the Black Label line is their "street" line, and therefore has a more relaxed fit.

It's great stuff. I got their Spinner jacket, and it fits like it was made for me. Great in a huge range of weather, dry except for a few drops at the chest vents. Thick leather, comfortable armor.

I'd say shop around a bit for the best price, then Do it!

Alpinestars is not known for substance to go with the price. For $400 check a custom fit with T-Pro protectors from a shop like Johnson Leathers. Much better stitching, much better armor, much better leather, much better fit.

I agree. AlpineStar nowadays isn't like the old AlpineStar back in the days. It's OK, but it's trading on its reputation now.
