Some gear pics ......

I use the jackets for quick rides into town....about 4 miles away. Anything longer, I wear the full suit . I wear the lid & gloves all the time.....I've been down a couple of times. Only takes 1 good time to learn your lesson.

Love it .....getting the right size was tough....had to send back 2 suits before we got it right. The perforated leather on the front, makes it a bit nippy for winter riding.

This one seemed to run small in the shoulder area but I'm odd shaped . At 6' and 250 lbs with wide shoulders. I deal with these guys ....

http://newenough.com/

Awesome customer service and they have sizing charts for each brand of suits. Check the clearance/closeout products and alot of times you can get gear at close to half price. They get all my business !

Nice gear, buddy. Now de-virginize those knee pucks!!!

As for the helmet, I've heard from some local racers that the non-composite shelled HJC's (and other brands' non-composites, for that matter) don't hold up as well in serious crashes...

Word... I'll invest in one of those when I get the money... I'll be going custom... the high end off the rack suits are a ripoff and don't hold up as well as you would think in a crash (astars, dainese, etc)... not to mention they'll never fit as well as a custom jobbie... I'll probably get a syed or zee custom suit made. It will cost around the same, anyways. Until then, the 2piece zip-together will have to do.
