Nice dude.... I have patagonia long underwear top and bottom and some long ass socks I wear when snowboarding that I've been putting under my leathers. I also have scott snowmobile gloves and a turtlefur balaclava. Nice and toasty.

They're great for low speed stuff (under 50mph). I wore the gloves snowboarding under my other gloves which are ripped. Kept my hands warm and dry when snow got in the outer. Also made getting the board gloves on and off a lot easier.

It's been around 0 degrees here, with well over a foot of snow on the ground...

No riding for me, I don't have a sled yet, so don't need any cold riding gear!

Cold gear or not....Under Armour under your leathers is cash money. Makes getting them on and off so much easier.

I actually just got back from a short ride to the gas station and around town to top off the tank and get the stabil through the system and wore my coldgear mock turtleneck under my jacket. Kept me warm but this winter Ive gotta get the gloves so that my hands wont go numb next time its cold out (probably not til early spring).

Not sure if you mean PG or me...

But my turtlefur balaclava was around 18 bucks. It's nice and long, too, so you can tuck it into the neck of your jacket and shirt allllll the way around.

I don't like them for riding actually. At least not for the kind of cold around here. For snowboarding or sports they're good- but higher wind speeds cut right through them.

damn i need some of those face covers. ive been doing a lot of nite riding lately and though it works, im tired of wearing a bandana over my face. whenever i go i get lots of attention.
my lid is red, my jacket is red, my bike is red, and coincedentally my bandana is red. im always cautious of riding through a crip neighborhood...

Wow, you're old.

Congrats on the gear. Now if we could just get some weather to try it out. I think a cold front is coming thru this weekend.

Dunno about your chicanes, but mine have a stretch panel in the crotch, gets breezy there w/o any layers. And my Teknic jacket has perforations on the front of it.
