2 pc Suit

I am looking to possibly upgrade from my jeans and textile jacket to a riding suit next summer or maybe next winter. I've already decided I want a 2 piece suit but can't decide on the brand. I am hoping to get something in the 500 dollar range, so no A* or Dainese for me. I am looking at the Chicane 2 piece, maybe AVG, maybe something else. What are your guys' suggestions or suits in this range.

Heard great things about the Teknic stuff... AVG seems ok, but I think you're better off with the Teknic...

It's AGV Sport not AVG and they produce some great 2 piece suits, we just uploaded and introduced our 2008 line so be sure to check it out!

The Teknic Chicane is a good suit. Read great reviews. Leather is of decent quality. May not last you more than a crash or two...but thats what you've got to expect in entry level stuff.

I've got the Lightning jacket and the Chicane pants to make my 2 piece suit.

Sorry about that. It wasn't even 6 in the morning. I went back to sleep shortly after.

I have a teknic chicane textile jacket now, so i am thinking about being brand loyal since i like it a lot. Like I said, it will probably be at least 6 months before I get it so more choices may open up too.

how well does your suit fit drewp? it allways kind of looked a little saggy, but that might just be from all the belly muscle.

.... i ordered it large......

i knew i would be spending alot of time in it and i wasnt really concerned with the race replica, i cant stand up feel of the tighter fitting ones, i am in the size range for the charts, its a 50-60 which is for a 6'0" - 6'3" 190 - 220# 33 - 36 waist, personally a 48 fits alot better but its not as comfortable for all day treks

My buddy has an AGVSport...he crashed at the track with it Held up pretty well except for one area. The mesh on the inside of the elbow area. His was also about a size too big and when he hit the ground and slid the extra material caused the suit to 'turn' on his arm. The mesh caused a pretty vicious 'burn' on his arm and it also ripped.

i agree with the sizing be too large, cause by the stats, i fit perfectly into the 50-60 6' 217#'s with a 36 waist

its suppose to fit snug so the armor/pads dont shift out of place. but I have to agree its not as comfy if its real snug.
