Airprotek jacket. Anyone recommend it?

Was wondering if anyone has one or has seen it in action etc. Any input would be great.

interesting stuff. but why do all their jackets look like hiking jackets? dainese makes some jackets like that but i don't know how much body parts it covers.

I placed an order with airprotekgear.com a few weeks ago and have not had any response. When I try calling the number listed on their website (877-707-8484) I get a message that the number no longer exists. I've sent e-mails but they have gone unanswered.

I'm wondering if the company may have gone out of business. I'm beginning the process of trying to get my $700 back through PayPal.

the only problem I see is getting off your bike and remembering to disconnect the cord!

it'd be hilarious to see though

If anyone else is looking into getting a jacket through airprotekgear.com and following this thread, I finally got a response from airprotek. They gave me a full refund, so I guess their customer service is okay after all. But the phone number listed on their website is still incorrect.

wow! $700.00 crazy... it should be easy to get it back from PayPal if the company didn't respond to paypal's investigators will refund it. Guess you gotta be careful who you buy from.

I never heard of AirProtek; i don't think i would want it though.
