That helmet fits in well with this site. Go with the Hayes lid if you go Arai

Lemme pay the IRS first before I can think about "high $" helmets.

I did find the Hayes for $594

BTW, have you tried on lids yet? I have really give my Shoei lid several hardcore test runs and I am very pleased with my decision to focus on fit instead of design.

Haven't tried the Shoei, but the biggest reason I've been over the Arai is fit. I tried the Rx7 on last year and it fit like a glove. I've got a Shoei dealer in town. I need to go try the x-11

If the RX-7 fit you perfect, I wouldn't bother with the X-11 because it won't.

You are correct, sir. Tried the x-11 at lunch. Hard to explain, but the size was right. However, there was some movement I didn't like. Must be a shap issue.

yeah its because your head isn't round. When I stick my head in the RX-7, I have these pockets of space my head doesn't fill. It just doesnt feel like my head is all the way in the helmet when it is. A nice fitting helmet is awesome though. I have had my X-11 out a few times already and forget I am wearing it because it is so light and comfortable.
