Leather Suit and boots ? ?

Planning a trip to Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon) in a few months. This will be my 3rd time down there, and my wonderfull GF is buying me a suit for my birthday Im stuck between a 2 piece suit and a 1 piece suit cuttently. I dont do track days and havent got a knee down yet. But then I havent pushed getting a knee down due to not having the right gear. I have 2 questions reagarding the suits. Based on my use for a suit would a 2 piece be more usefull for my riding? (Deals Gap riding, curvy road trips, etc.) And boots for riding with a suit. I have seen and checked out the racing boots and have seen some mid-rise racing boots also. Would a mid-rise boot still keep the leather pants tucked in well enough like a full racing boot would? Or am I just selling myself short with the mid-size?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
