What helmet to choose?

I know its a common question here especially for bike beginner like me, what helmet to choose? and why I should choose that helmet?

I have a Kawasaki Ninja 250R-EX250 which they say is a better beginners bike so I bought one. Now my dilemma is what helmet to buy. They say any Arai helmets because they are well-vented and excellent in reducing noise then others say Shoei because the quality is amazing and also well-vented. So what brand should I choose or there are other brands that are much better? Suggestions, opinions and recommendations will do. I just need a little helmet.

hi

I suggest you buy a full face helmet. It's better for protection. Check some on line stores that offers that.

I have an Arai RX-Q and I love it. It is very easy to change the visors and is well vented. I get headaches if I get too hot, but I have been able to ride year round with my RX-Q and not have a headache in the heat.

I have a couple of friends who have Shoei's and they like them as well. I can't speak about the ventilation or anything though.

Personally, I recommend you go and try on some helmets and see what fits your head best. Wear it around the store for half an hour and see if any pain develops. One might just fit better than the other. Helmet manufactures use different head shapes so one brand that fits me well may not necessarily fit you well.
