Need Help In My Motor Swap

I HAVE A 2002 GSXR 1000 WITH A BLOWN MOTOR AND IM PUTTING A 2004 GSXR 1000 MOTOR IN IT,What All Is Needed To Do This Swap

Maybe just a a 2004 wiring harness... but that's a tuffy.

What do you know as of the differences?

I would say the worse would be a 2004 wiring harness and computer

good luck on making motor mounts on the 02 frame the 04 mounts slightly different than the 02. let me know how that works out

IT FITS LIKE A GLOVE... IT TOOK ME AND A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE ABOUT 2 DAYS TO HAVE IT ALL DONE AND RUNNING..I HAD TO CHANGE MOTOR , HARNESS FROM FRONT TO BACK, COMPUTER, THROTTLE BODIES,HAND CONTROLS,THROTTLE CABLES,IGNITION,SPEEDO, I THINK THAT IS IT AND SHE RUNS LIKE A BEAST... HOPEFULLY HAVE SOME PICTURES OF IT UP SOON... OH AND DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN HAVE SOME BRAKE LIGHTS... THEY HOOK UP DIFFERENT... I CAN GET THE LIGHT TO TURN ON AND STAY LIT UP BUT WHEN I PRESS THE BRAKE IT WILL NOT LIGHT UP ...THANX FOR EVERYONES HELP

So the motor was a direct bolt in for the mounts?

Make sure the switch is good. Run power through the in side and activate the switch and test power on the out side.
