how much for a 7,500mile tune up??

so the local steal wants 364 plus parts for my 7500 tuneup, is that about right? seems steep, but they go in and adjest the valves and check the clucth among oterh things like oil change and random checks, does anyone know where i can find what exactly they do for each tuneup??? thanks

What bike are you taking in for a tuneup? this can vary depending on the bike I think.

F that... change the oil and forget about it. There will be nothing worth looking at with your valves!

I had 18,000 on my 9R and only 1 valve needed any adjustment and it was very small and barely needed any shim.

Just do a normal oil change and maintance and go on about your life. I am sure you don't beat on your bike more than I would work my 9R out!

drewpy... I wouldn't steer you wrong. I assure you.. your bike will be fine. Change the oil, clean/adjust/lube your chain, and tighten everything you can get to... you'll be good to go!

I agree with gasman same your pennies, you will provoke an issue before preventing it. If you track or race your bike then thats a different story, but I am quessin that this is just a street machine. Correct?
