My F4i redlines at 14.5 and the limiter light comes on at about 15 so your bike should be right in that neighborhood...find another shop.

Hey! do y'all know each other yet...I mean y'all both live in Vegas????????

Heck my BD has a rev limiter and it even records how many times the rider hits it!

Why doesn't Dlit give you some advice on where to take the bike? Listen to him... he may come off as a punk but he's a good guy. Don't let him scare you!

So the dealer can say "FU" when you blow it up.

Close but no so much... its more like My Big Dog himself aka the factory can say that...

The unique difference between the jap bikes and the american made thing. The factory is here. I know a few guys that live near by and take their BD's to the factory service center for warrenty issues. Talk about cool...

sportbikes can bounce off the rev limiter as much as it wants. that's what the rev limiter is for. it keeps the valves from floating and slapping. and keeps the oil where it should be. no limiter = disaster, unless the engine is a 2-cycle.

if the timing is off, it may reduce the max rpm.
