Cool Pro Cycle XLT DT Motorcycle Lift

Well I have been leading on to getting somin way cool. Well this is it. Something that can be used on any bike and any bike owner can appreciate! It cost me a pretty penny but oh is it worth it!

I found somin very special in my driveway today.

Once unloaded and hauled in piece by piece... I wheeled the main unit inside...

Oh is this a start of a great relationship or what!

Can I supersize that?

Why certainly!

And I never realize how well it would match the chopper till next thing I knew... low and behold...

awesome! I would love to have a lift like that!

Webb (Fasterbusa) has one of those in his garage too.

Have fun with it Chris!

May I ask how much it cost?

Well I'll copy in a quote from the WOS board cause Twisty (go figure) was super interested...
Quote:
Hey I got it for ya.... and you're 100% right. The
cold floor sucks. Now I'll lay it all out for you.
Mine came with the chopper extension (I don't even
need it and its not on there). It also comes with 1
scissor jack and the front tire vise. I added the
side extensions and a second scissor jack.

I debated the side extensions but if you don't add
them on when you buy it you might as welll forget it.
Reason being. It cost me $125 to have it shipped.
The lift alone weights 500# and when you add in the
extras the thing weights nearly 700#. But if you
don't order the sides and want them later its still
$125 to ship the $175 side extensions. Plus if you
don't have them it makes it hard to ride the bike up
(no where to put your feet) and when wrenching no
where to put your parts.

So anyway...

They are Pro Cyle air lifts. It requires 100# of air
pressure and I'm doing it fine with my heavy bitch on
top with my little air compressor... a 10 or 20... the
standard garage size.

Pro
Cycle lifts page from Greg's Equipment in
Indianapolis, IN

It has the drop tail section for easy rear wheel
removal which you can imagine seeing that the section
under the rear tire does this...

The
DT lift alone w/o side extensions is $695

With
the side extensions or the XLT DT is $849

The guy gave me a discount on the second scissor jack
for only $35.

The math as to what I had was $845 + 35 + 125 = $1005
to my driveway.

THis company runs them on EBay as well.

Gregs
Ebay Sales

Here's a pic of the lengths.

Now unless you can arrange it when in already
traveling... let me give you the math on shipping vs
pickup (which you can do at their indianapolis
office).

If yo pick it up you have to pay sales tax about $50.
Its a 4.5 hr oone way trip so 4.5 + 4.5 + 1hr load up
and pick up time = 10hr day. Plus the gas for the 275
miles one way will make you burn about $50+ in gas.
When you can pay $125 and they will drop it off at
your driveway like this.

It took me by myself (a second person would have
helped) about 2-3hrs to setup everything and clean up.
It also cost me one sore back later in the day.

Getting the Super G carb bored, punched, chromed and having a fuel atomizer and bowl screws extenders put on. Will be worth about a 10hp gain!
