Switching a 2005 subframe with a 2003 subframe

Hey ya'll, I have a '05 CBR600F4I. I like the bike, just don't like the gay single seat. I want to switch the subframe with a 2003 F4I subframe, so i can have the split seat which in my mind looks sportier. I've talked to the same dealer on 4 different occasions and teh've told me 2 times that it can be done without and mods and I've gotten 2 no's. Just looking a schematic pics they look very similiar as far as where they bolt up to the frame but I'm not sure. I don't wanna spend the money and buy the '03 subframe if it won't work. Anybody ever tried this or heard of doning this before?

Well, I did it. Pretty easy too. It took me about 2 and a half hours but it was worth it. The bike looks a hell of a lot better without that gay looking banana seat. I'm not able to post attachments yet, but as soon as I am able to, I will post some pics. I'm not gonna post all the pics with the subframe off like thirdgenlexi(I think that's his tag) did but I'll post some before and after.
