92 FZR600 Seat Removal

How do I remove the seat on this stinkin 92 FZR 600?. PLease someone who has a FZR or someone who knows please help. My Batery went dead and its under the seat.

Isnt there a keyed lock that you can just use your ignition key to unlock? most bikes thats how it comes off. it would likely be a lock on the left side toward the back of the bike.

Is there bolts under the passenger seat holding a bracket that is holding the front seat on?

doesnt the rear seat hold teh back of the front seat in place? (wow sounds confusing). should only have to remove rear pass seat and pull up and back on the front seat. should come out if im not mistaken. its been a while for a fizzer.

I have a 96 YZF so it should be similar. There is a lock that the ignition key fits into on the back to the left of the brake light. Push down on the passenger seat and turn the key to the right to pop it open. Then there should be a latch in the compartment right behind the front seat, if you push that, it should release the front seat which lifts up and pulls out of a metal clip towards the rear. The battery will be under there.
