serious problem no one knows what it is?

whats up, i have a 2001 gixxer 1000, i have moderate engine work done, headwork, yosh stage 2 cams, undercut trany, race bearings, short stacks, k&N, port and polish, stage 3 injectors, racing clutch, racing throttle, PCIII, and some other non major mods about 1400 miles ago. and there never was a problem . now heres the problem, 3 days ago, i down shifted from 3rd to 2nd, my rpms hit 9000 bike shut off, i clutched it and it cracked right back up, while i was riding down the road. 30 mins of ride time later, i clutched it reved to 6000 rpms and the bike shuts off. i pull over put my bike in dealer mode and check for codes.

there are no codes to popped up, so i let my bike sit for a full day, and i went out yesterday to crank it and it started right up, i let it warm up, to 100f reved it 6000 rpms, and the bike shut off, it happened again and again and again, i check my oil coolant, PC, sensors out the ying yang and nothing.

someone please help me.

Disconnect your PCIII..see if that fixes the shutoff problem..that may be why no codes are showing. The PC re-interpets the ECU signals after processing; if your PC is malfunctioning, codes may not be showing. If the shutoff issue continues, you may now show codes........

It might be the programming with your PC3. With all that work done to it, if the PC3 isn't programmed right for your bike and all the mods it has done to the engine, that might have something to do with it. idk. Also, since you say it keeps shutting off when you hit 6k, maybe something in the programming of the PC3 is causing it like a rev limiter or something.

Unplug that PCIII and see if the problem goes away. Dynojet is known for problems.

sounds like you have an incorrect map issue.

unplug it see if it runs...then go get a custom map for all of the engine work you have had done. it isn't going to work correctly with out it.

I don't have a power commander because they tend to have problems along the line somewhere. I know at some point in time I'll have to get one tho.

Getting a voltage drop from the cable vibrating loose? Could be. I know a lot of times though, the cable is just corroded. Might be that you pinched it installing something else, and the corrosion is somewhere you can't see it.

Also check your wiring harness that sits beneath your gauges. I do wheelies a lot and mine came unplugged so it totally cut off my guages, lights, etc. I thought I had broke something and when I found out it was just that, I took some electrical tape to it so it wouldn't happen again.

Sounds like the ignition's cutting out. Do you have one of those TRE's? Maybe unplug it and clean the connection with contact cleaner.
