can a +2 rear sprokect be used with stock chain and front sprocket?

just as the title states, i got a new rear +2 sprocket and would like to put it on my 03 zxer 636, do i need a longer chain or will this one work ( and i know it is best to change all at once, but i am tight on change and am planing on gettting the combo rig but not until after my trackday in april 29th) i hate being in college with a feast or famine income so i am planing on just keeping this rear on and using the one that comes in the kit as a back up, the ulitmate goal is a -1, +2 gearing combo for track and twistys and a -1 stock for the rest of the time

kinda hard to say. depends on how much ur stock chain has stretched, and if u can move the wheel forward enough to get it on there and still be able to adjust it. pretty much, try it.

How far back is your rear axle you in your swingarm? It might fit. But honestly you'll never know till you try.
