Take-off's, used tires. where to find.

I want to get something on my bike so i can ride again. My rear tires is the only thing needing replacement. I may have enough to just a new set but i'd rather save the money now and get new rubber when i have more cash on hand.

Where should i start to look? I've been trying local shops and stuff and had no luck so far, was hoping there is something you guys could point out to me.

I'd look at a WERA board, maybe see around a local bike track, they've ALWAYS got race takeoffs for sale.

Yeah, I was pricing out new exhaust recently too. Ended up ordering from 58cycle.com as they were the cheapest. Order directly from the store and I saved $50 over buying from their ebay store.
You'd think online and ebay stores would be the same price?

not ALL racers will be running slicks. here, I've bought a few good street tires that are race takeoffs with LOTS of miles left on em. Pilots, Qualifiers, you name it you can get it if you look.

Let me know if you go with the PPs instead of my used Dunlop. I'll sell it to the other guy intersted. I found my PPs for $240 for the pair delivered. Bought them Sunday night online, got them Thursday. ridedirect.com, cheapest I found.
