Gas Tank Problem

HEY ALL ,
:-)
I HOPE EVERYONE IS ENJOYING THE GREAT WHEATHER.
I BOUGHT A 1970 HONDA CB, I AM PLANNING TO TURN IT TO A CAFE RACER
ITS RUSTED INSIDE THE GAS TANK, IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN CLEAN IT? HOW? OR THAT TANK IS JUST GARBAGE?
OR FUEL FILTER IS GOOD ENOUGH AND RUST WOULDNT HURT?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT I CAN DO, GOOD GUYS WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE :-) RIDE SAFE AND ENJOY

A CB what, 125, 350, 750? You will need Kreem, a fuel tank liner kit. Do a Google search. You have to follow the directions carefully as it will take the paint off the tank if any leaks out during cleaning. After cleaning, you coat the inside with an epoxy-type coating. I used it on a GT750 tank years ago.

A small pice of chain works well to break up the rust also.
