money well spent...

I was wandering around the gap yesterday and someone mentioned suspension tuning at wheelers. It was late, so he was closed, but I went back this morning. Man, if you haven't had your suspension dialed in by a professional, DO IT NOW! The CBR just freakin came to life and I picked up a lot of speed.

I'm going to have mine done after I do the fork seals on the 500. if you're a Central FL resident near Pasco, Kinetic motorsports is THE place to go.

Wheeler's normal price is $25 and he will let you take off to the gap afterward and will tweak it based on your feedback when/if you come back that day.

what difference can you tell in the suspension, considering your bike is an '07? Is it based on the weight ratio with the rider.....

Yeah he sets it up for your weight. I went with a more aggressive suspension setup. The bike is a lot less "bouncy" I guess you could say. It makes for a rougher ride on the interstate and straight roads, but it holds a line in a corner better and doesn't feel like it is floating around it.

Were staying in Robbinsville and will be getting in early Saturday morning so we'll be out and about Sunday!

Yep, based on weight and everything Trip said. You figure my 1K was factory set-up for a 180 lb rider......felt much better when I got it set (as close as it would go) for me at 120 lb. I still get some "bouncy" though but between that and the sprocket change last year it's pretty close.

Yep, he is the only person that has put miles on my CBR besides me. I am going to get him to tune the bike after I put an Akra on it.
