Clutch question

The other day I, with my bike off, I noticed it was hard to push while in first and the clutch pulled in. So I knew there was a problem. This morning I put it on the rearstand and, sure enough, wheel spins with the clutch pulled in. Will a clutch cable adjustment fix this or is there something else I should look at also?

I think it is normal to have some resistance with the bike in gear and the clutch pulled in. As long as it isn't a problem while sitting on the bike with it running in gear, i.e. sitting at a stop sign, I wouldn't worry about it.
