Did you lube the o-ring on the end of the new filter?

This next one is far fetched but I have heard of it...

Did you make sure the old o-ring wasn't still on the bike when you put on the new filter?

I've seen it a couple times on cars... Not too far fetched... Well, maybe more far fetched on a bike as new as his...

But it has nothing to do with the bike being new... just that the little o-ring sticks sometimes and the the guy puttin on the new oil filter doesn't wipe the area clean and notice it before spinning on the new filter.

Always clean with a rag the oil pump where the oil filter spins on and oil the new filter. This stops this sort of thing....
