Stainless steel brake lines and HH pads are a good start. And suspension work...valves, emulators, springs, oil.

Suspension and brakes are FAR more valuable than horsepower...unless you don't care about stopping and cornering.

If straight line is your thing then forget about a 600. Busa or ZX14 is your rig.

Exhaust, power commander w/ custom map, cams, heads, turbo, nitrous, etc...

Oh, and get a hell of a life insurance policy because any noob that is foolish enough to think he needs more HP than a 600 produces is sure to DIE...

if you're going to be racing on the interstate, forget mods, get a good attorney and a boatload of money.

suspension and Pilot Powers are your best mods to invest in, then follow up with exhaust, power commander 3, HH brake pads and braided stainless lines, and if you want to go INSANELY fast, just invest in a twin turboed busa with a 12" extended swingarm, ludacris dyno run and some leathers+lid.

I thought about it and my last comment was a bit harsh but from the above reading it sounds like a run through the course given by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation is in order, BTW "only 25 more HP" then a 600 is huge difference and a simple pipe and power commander will still leave you on the better side of 15-20Hp behind

brutal just brutal, lol tho they are all right. All the above mods will achieve more hp. If you are an experienced rider and are fully use to all the power your 600 produces at the moment. Upgrade you Brakes w/ HH pad and SS lines. Then get a ignition advancer or Power Commander, and a exhaust system. and then move up from there with jet kits... the list is endless really, main point everyone is making is make sure you can handle what you are asking for. Bike are loads of fun, but the can turn into death faster than we can blink.

So peace brother!
