gsxr 1000 2004 running on 1 cylinder

My gsxr 1000 2004 is running (barely ) on cylinder no. 2 .
all the coils are working . any ideas welcome.

do you have compression and fuel to the other 3? have you verified spark at the plugs? a motor requires 4 things to run. fuel, air, spark and compression.

yes . fuel definetly going in as it can be smelt coming out the exhaust unburnt . No spark for cyls 1 3 and 4 . Compression great .

well, start with the inexpensive stuff, plugs first, on all four cylinders, test your plug wires on both ends (bad wire is possible) and report back to us. bad plugs are totally possible.

What do the plugs look like? Check this STICKY for more info on reading plugs

Further, I thought you said you only had a problem with #2. But then you say no sparky on anything but #2????

Most likely there are one to three things wrong. Plugs, wires, or coil pack. Maybe something in the ignition PC but probably not. Which brings up a VERY important question..

What mods? Power Commander?
