Fuel prob

So yea I had a bit of a prob with my bike today, it died in the middle of the road on my way home. I should not have been even close to being out of gas seeing as how I was only at 98 miles on this tank. I normally get 120 out of a tank of gas before i need to hit reserve.

Sure enough I had to switch to reserve and pray i made it to the next gas station.

anyone wanna put their in before I take it to the shop?

Have you been riding it harder? If switching to reserve kept it alive, then you probably are just out of gas. Remember when NtS did this not too long ago?

Check see if you have a leak around the pet cock/fuel filter hose. Mine was leaking from there once. Cheap fix!

Was there a racoon lodged in that filter? Thats an incredible gain.

Psycho...have you run it harder? Put another couple tanks of gas in it and see what kind of milage you get. Be concious of how you apply throttle. If you're back to normal milage...there are no problems. If you are still getting reduced miles...start checking what these guys said.

Drewpy told me that i am running it harder. He noticed i was accelerating faster and such when he was behind me this weekend in his jeep. So yea I'll prolly watch it for the next few tanks and see. But it is still going in for a service just cause it needs it since it's old.
