how to chanange oil on ninja 250

hey guys can u tell me how to change my oil and what oil should i put on it

i dont have the user manual as i am the 2nd owner help me guys please

as far as oil i used some valvoline motorcycle 10W-40 or something, don't remember.

while the engine is running... NO.
It should come on when you first start it, and then go out.
If it's on, you have a prob...
Either no oil, low oil pressure, bad sensor, etc... check it out.

Nope.

I had the same problem.
My oil level was correct.
But to rule out a possibly more serious problem I changed the oil and filter.
No problem with the light after the oil change.
Probably something somewhere was clogged up.

haha i'm surprised you don't have to turn a ninja 250 on its side like a lawn mower to change the oil
