07 GSXR-750 Whining noise from engine bay

I had my first 600mi service done last month. On my way home from the service dealer, I started hearing a whining / low pitch whistling noise from the engine area. It would abruptly start and abruptly stop. It sounds as if it turns on and off triggered by something. Does anyone know what this maybe? Should I be concerned? I did call the dealer who serviced my bike. They want me to leave the bike so that they can look into it and that it may take few days. Only problem with that is, they are about 30miles from my house. 60 miles roundtrip is a drag.

Check the oil level first thing. The other thing that squeaks is gas at high pressure. Like a spark plug that is loose.

Sounds like it's the radiator kicking on. The Gixxers have insanely loud radiators. I've noticed this, you're probably just realizing it b/c it's new to you. After having that first service done, you are prone to be more anal retentive to details about your bike looking for things wrong with it. The noise has probably been there the whole time. Who knows? Let us know what you find out.

Thanx guys!. Someone did tell me that the sound maybe the radiator cooling fan going on and off. I'll have the dealer check it out, just in case.
