I love my PP's

I just got back from a lunch ride, took a sweeper at 130. The guy behind me said I left a 2 inch black strip on the road through the entire curve. The PP's did not slip one time.

To the mighty Pilot Powers.

What kind of mileage does a set of PP's get?

I am debating leaving the PPs next time, I hear too many good things about the Corsa IIIs and want to give em a shot.

I have gone through about 12 sets of Pilot Powers with my bike that has about 20K miles on it.

I want the Pilot Power 2s! They're more towards race but still street legal but the tyre will wear a lot faster than the standard Pilot Powers.

They're a great tyre though, just a little too soft a compound for riding down here in El Paso, Texas due to the heat. They warm up really quickly but on hot roads they wear a lot faster.

And for what it's worth, I got 8000+ from my front and around 5000 from my rear, including a track day.

I was asking because I have Roads atm, and I'll be lucky if the rear makes it the rest of the season. I'd like a set of the Road 2's. Plus for how I ride 90% of the tyme I need a tire that gets at least 4-5k n PP's sound like they can get that plus so all is good

5k? Wow... I got just over 3k from my rear Diablo... About the time my rear wears out again, the front should be ready to go... PP's it is!

I have heard a lot about the PP's, but chose to spoon on a set of the conti sport attacks this weekend. Bike feels brand new. Corners like it is on rails, the dunlops that I had on slipped out a lot. The Conti's inspire confidence, and grip very well.

I am hoping that we could get a post stickied for tire wear and mileage, would be great to have an up to date posting to check to get info on current brands.
