being that its a newer setup, its likely to have a radial master cylinder.
have you tried bleeding the mastercylinder yet? if not, there will be a bleeder valve on top, try pumping the brakes up and opening that valve. then once you've done that proceed to bleed the rest of the system. sounds like you've got an airlocked master cylinder. DEFINATELY check to ensure you've got the right crush washers in the right places though. if you dont, NOTHING is gonna work.
