adjustment on clutch lever

Having lil problem adjusting my clutch lookin for lil advice?>

cable and after adjusting the screw behind the rubber cover i adjust right above their by loosening th nut and turn the adjustment bolt but since doin this the clutch is knocking hard just engaged in 1st dont wanna drive the bike i have it up on stands just changing hte adjustment but cant fig out whyits not knockin wasnt before i adjusted

Yeah mean its knocking while running it in first set up on a rear stand? They all do wierd stuff when you are running them with the rear wheel off the ground. Try taking it for a quick spin and see how it is.

When I run my bike in gear while up on the rear stand the rear wheel jerks all around, you need that resistance the road gives you to keep the chain from slacking up then catching. Is it knocking off the stand? try going around the block or something.
