motor rebuild

im tryin to rebuild my 01 rm 125...how do i split the case..i have no spare money to take it into a shop..i have all parts to fix it..so if someone can help me much appreciated

not exactly sure on that model, but shoould be some place to pry apart, just be carefull not to gouge any metal. i would suggest investing in a service manual it should tell ya anything and everything ya need to know.

Why do you need to split the case? Are you installing a new crank or piston rod? If all you are changinfg is the piston, rings and bearing, you dont need to split the case.
