My ZX9R sometimes runs rough

I have a 99 Kawasaki ZX9R with only 9,000km on it. It was running great all year then this fall it started to run very rough after it had been riden for about 30-60 minutes. Would run bad for about 5 minutes then clear up. Any thoughts? Do you think it's electrical or fuel? Any help you could offer would be appreciated..

Try new plugs, new air filter, new fuel filter(if it has one you can change) to start things off.

Also inspect your coil sticks for cracks.

I agree... I never had any problems with my 9R but I was always on top of all my maintance. There is also a fuel filter under the tank.

Are you kidding me Pickle? I miss some aspects of the 9R but the overwhelming positives to the chop far out weight what I miss. Not too mention the people I have met thru the channels of that world. The most stand up guys I have ever met.
