tire suggestions

When its time for my yzf to get tires, i want to do some research first and get an idea on which tires are the best for how i ride. it has Dunlop Qualifiers on it right now, and the rear was bumped up from a 160 to a 170. the guy i bought it from said they wear really well and he's been impressed with them. Im probably rarely gonna hit over 100, and i want something thats more of a sport/touring tire. i live out in the country, so i will encounter a bit of gravel on the road and whatnot. im not gonna stick to fresh blacktop the whole time i ride. i wouldnt imagine there is a huge difference in sport/touring tires, but are there some to stay away from? thanks!

If you want the sportier side of sport/tour, Road 2s are supposed to be great. Better traction in the wet too.

Someone around here suggested Conti(nental) Sport something...

Are the Road Attacks comparable to the Roads or Road 2?

:edit: From this review, and this one, they sound like the Road 2. Mostly positive comments too.

No one has said this yet, but you will probably want to go back down to a 160 rear if thats what was on the wheel from factory.

You run into the risk of some danger if you try to pinch a tire (larger tire going on smaller wheel) and you won't ever get the performance out of the tire that you should be getting because you are altering its shape and its turn in.

Just a thought.
