Angry Live in Iowa, Bike been sitting and won't start

My Bike has been sitting for about three months in the fridgid temps of Iowa. This would be the first year I ever had to store my Gixxer 11 in the winter. I was told to put stabil in the tank, and pull battery. It was 55 degrees today and I had decided today was the day I pull it out. Much to my suprise the bike won't start. I get crank and nothing else. Could this problem be anything other than a standard fuel or spark issue?

I would suggest draining each carburator bowl to get some fresh fuel in there. I would then cheat by spraying a bit of WD-40 in the airbox to see if I could get the bike to fire.

For what ever reason, those bikes seem to foul plugs pretty easily.

another thing you might can do after you do get it started is run some sea foam in you fisrt tank of gas to help clean things out and it dont hurt to add it to yours gas every now and then.* also check to see if your getting spark to the plugs.

Talking Thanks for the help

I did get it fired off. Changed the spark plugs. Also sprayed a little engine starter fluid in the air filter. Fired right off. Thanks for the tips.
