Question Buffing out dings??

Friend of mine has a FZR 600...in pretty good shape, etc..but has a few dings on the body armor, mostly from cars knocking their doors into it the parking lot, and he dropped it once or twice that i know off..none of them are real deep, and only on the fiberglass..will buffing get most of those out? will it take off the finish? or is he looking at just getting a whole new panel put on?

Thanks for the help.

Buffing will probably not get out the dings it is more to get rid of minor scratches...of course, it never hurts to try.

I wouldnt buff too hard, you're likely to hurt the finish. Get some decals to cover 'em! :bike:
