1996 CBR 600 Clutch question

I got this bike the other day. Very nice bike ( my first). I bought it knowing it had a problem with the clutch. The cluthes went out and the previous owner didn't do the job correctly so It would not move. I torn it down, got the honda manual and reassembled the clutch, it has all new clutches, steels and bearing. Now the bike moves and runs ok, I road it yesterday. but the clutch housing is hitting the clutch cover at times making noise. I took it back apart last night to recheck the assembly. What I am asking has anyone ran across this problem or have any idea whats going on. I rebuild 2 stroke and 4 stroke dirt bike engines and trans all the time so I have some knowledge. Oh yea I checked to see if the housing had any play but seems tight. Thanks in advance for any help.
