Burnt Ground wires????

I got a serious electrical problem. For some reason the ground wire on my bike melted down, got so hot that it actually burnt in two. Itís the neg from the battery that connects to the harness and to the frame. Any idea why the neg side would short out this way. The battery that I was running was a bit small for the bike but I really didnít think much of that until this happened. Before I would just get a click sometimes when thumbing the start button and would have to do it a few times to get past the clicks. Could it be that the bike was pulling on the small battery so hard that it caused the ground to burn up? Or is this a problem with the generator? The harness side of the wired didnít burn, just between the battery neg and the frame

burn mire

Bro, check for any break or split in the cable it self or may be the cable is not grounded the correct way, sometimes you need to take all the tape who cover the cable and check all the way!!!!
