Chain and Sprocket advice

I have to buy a new chain, so i'm going to buy a new front and rear sprocket as well. I hear about going 1 down in front and 3 up in the rear. I like the quickness of the bike. The zero to 90 speed, not the top speed. What combo will get my "get up and go" faster?

-1/+2 is the most popular combo. I wouldnt go any higher with the rear sprocket unless you want to stay up on one like a iggit.
